I'e done the math like 50000 times and still cant figure this out. HALP! In the spring, the height of a vine was 25 inches. In the fall, the height of the vine was 140 inches. What was the percent of increase? 46% 56% 460% 560%

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

percent increase = 100*(new value-old value)/old value = 100*(140-25)/25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i believe it is the first one

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

first one is too small to be the correct answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 460%?

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

yup, good job remember the formula :)
