OpenStudy (mrnood):

when you work out the AREA of similar figures the area is in proportion to the square of the ratio of the sides. So write down the ration of the sides (smallest divided by largest) THEN Simplify that Then Square it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.42

OpenStudy (mrnood):

That is not correct

OpenStudy (mrnood):

You have to SQUARE the answer BUT It will be EASIER if you leave it as a fraction - that way you will recognise the answer more easily

OpenStudy (mrnood):

what is 15/35 simplified (divide by 5 top and bottom)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3/7
