OpenStudy (jaylelile):

Please help, picture below Which exponential function is represented by the table? f(x) = 2(2x) f(x) = 0.8(0.8x) f(x) = 2(0.8x) f(x) = 0.8(2x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you think the answer is?

OpenStudy (sdfgsdfgs):

u are not typing the exponential part correctly in ur choices...but i think i know what u meant ;) two things will help u solve this prob: \[x=0, a^{bx} = a\] \[x=1, a ^{bx} = a ^{b}\]

@sdfgsdfgs What you just said doesn't make any since. Walk through it. It could help. Like Step 1: What do you think answer is? Step 2: Why do you think it is that answer. Step 3: Try to help simplify 2 of the answer choices. step 4: Help determine the answer. Step 5. Make sure they understand.

OpenStudy (sdfgsdfgs):

well @jaylelile hasnt posted anything so far so there is no way to tell if he understands anything at all. what i meant about the choices being typed incorrectly is that: f(x) = 2(2x) should be f(x)=2*(2^x) which makes more sense as the prob specified "exponential function" by using the two points, x=0 and x=1, one can find out the two constants a and b to solve the prob.

Okay, I see where you're going with it. Sorry for the mis-understanding.

all cool man :) im outta here!
