need help!!!!

think of it like a rectangular prism. the surface area formula is "2ab + 2bc + 2ac" http://www.math.com/tables/geometry/surfareas.htm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 2400?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try again. the width would be "a", the length would be "b", and the height would be "c". try adding up all of the "5"s and using that for the height. then use "12" for the length, and "10" for the width

geerky42 (geerky42):

"Find the surface area of the \(\small \textbf{VISIBLE}\) sides of the boxes" |dw:1435203341959:dw| Just add up the area of these three rectangles.
