Question

Okay, I need some help, I have forgotten how to do this... 2x+8=-6
And I need some help/refresher on how to.. any takers? :)

first subtract 8 from both sides because u have to inverse
so 2x=-14
then divide by 2 on both sides to get x by itself while doing inverse operation
so x=-7
