OpenStudy (anonymous):

this question, Why did Hitler launch Operation Barbarossa? to invade France following his annexation of the Sudetenland in 1939 to gain control of the rich resources that were under the control of the USSR to counter the approaching American army after their victory at the Battle of the Bulge to secure control over Western Europe before attempting to secure control over Eastern Europe I have already eliminated the second option but I am confused on the rest.

OpenStudy (true_alpha_wolf):

why did you cross out the second?

OpenStudy (true_alpha_wolf):

operation Barbarossa was an invasion planned by the germans to attack the soviet union also known as the USSR https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Barbarossa
