WILL MEDAL!! EMERGENCY!!! PLEASE HELP!!! Explain how percent yield is used to evaluate the success of an experiment.

Percent yield is used because it is used as a comparison between your theoretical yield which is what you should have got with no errors and your experimental yield which is what you ended up with. The closer your number is to zero the better because it shows that very little error was made but if your error was 100% or more for example then something went really wrong.
