The cube in the image has a volume of 1,000 cubic feet. The other solid has the same base and height as the cube, but the length of each of its slanted sides is 2 units longer than the height. What is the volume of the tilted solid? My options are: A. 800 B. 1000 C. 2000

This doesn't require any math. If you take a box and tilt one side, is the volume going to increase, decrease, or stay the same?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (btaylor):

Can you attach the photo?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got it now. The volume stayed the same, and thanks.
