Is the function tan t positive or negative in Quadrant IV?

Well, to answer that question, why not take some values of theta in that quadrant?
Do you know the status of sin t and cos t in Quadrant IV?
I don't know if I'm correct, but... tan=y/x sin=y cos=x I used All Students Take Calculus. Which means that in Quadrant IV, only Calculus (cos) is the positive, meaning in Quadrant IV, tan t is negative.
Correct, tan t is negative in Quadrant IV.
