OpenStudy (usukidoll):

and my smartscore went to 82! WOO! 8 more until 90!

OpenStudy (bobobox):

yay!!!!! Helping people!

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

errrrrrrr......all I see is a scatter plot just increasing.. here's the definition of positive correlation A positive correlation is a relationship between two variables where if one variable increases, the other one also increases. A positive correlation also exists in one decreases and the other also decreases.

OpenStudy (bobobox):

okay, scatter plot just confuse me all together here...

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

it's just ......... increasing.

OpenStudy (bobobox):

okay so a?

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

I don't know.. increasing is one thing but how strong is another. That is what I don't know

OpenStudy (bobobox):

hmmmmm. @jim_thompson5910 what do you think?

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

all I can grab out of this is... it's a scatter plot graph. if I draw a line, it will be positive and increasing... but how strong or weak... well I'm not sure.

OpenStudy (bobobox):

hmmm

OpenStudy (bobobox):

I hate scattor plots!

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

hate this! I never learned it to be honest. But I saw that the scatterplot graph is increasing

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

so if one value increase, so does another and you have a positive correlation

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

positive correlation occurs if one value decreased and so does another value.. hmm :/ but in this graph it's increasing .. just don't know the strength of it

OpenStudy (bobobox):

ugh this is weird

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

oh thank you internet... apparently if your scatter plot is clustered together you either have a strong positive or negative... something like this |dw:1435466364672:dw|
