I'm really confused on this question, could someone explain it or give me a formula to work wit please? What is the arc measure of a sector with area 38.485 ft2 and radius 7?

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Well, do you know how to go from arc measure to area?

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

As you probably remember, the area of an entire circle is \(\pi r^2\). Well and ark is a percentage or ratio of a circle. not the whole thing but just some section if it. One degree is \(\dfrac{1}{360}^{\text{th}}\) of a circle. That sort of ratio can be used to find the area of an arc. Well, similarly you put in what is known and solve for the unknown to get the arc from the area and radius.
