Ok I am not sure you want to get this abstract, but what @DecentNabeel showed is that \(x=19\) is a solution i.e. he showed existence, if we now show that it is the only solution i.e. we show uniqueness, then we know that there is only one solution. To shows this, simply solve for \(x\) in the equation.
