Lab is to find the radius and height of a right circular cylinder where the surface area and volume are the same number. Is there a solution? Is there more than one?

Having a hard time with this one.

OpenStudy (freckles):

Have you set the surface area equal to the volume ?

OpenStudy (freckles):

\[SA=2 \pi r h+2 \pi r^2 \\ V=\pi r^2 h \\ \text{ you are given } \\ SA=V \\ \text{ so you have } \\ 2\pi r h+2 \pi r^2=\pi r^2 h\] play with this equation a little maybe try to solve for r (or if you want solve for h instead)
