When you use a quote, you usually use it because you agree with it. If it were a counterclaim to your main argument, why would you use it?

Here's the thing: when you use quotes, you use them respectively. Saying that a quote from someone else is from your point of view is absurd and definitely not what they're meant to do. Quotes are meant to enlighten something or kind of prove your main point. It's like when you have trouble sleeping on your old mattress and then purchase memory foam and then you're fine. ...So yes.
