Find the X. Round to the nearest tenth. Medal and Fan! HELP!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uhhh thats not enough to do anything with

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is there anymore info

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

yes, please give us some equation to work on:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@emmaleelooney

OpenStudy (emmaleelooney):

OpenStudy (emmaleelooney):

@KakeFace @DaBest21 @SolomonZelman

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

\(\large\color{black}{ \displaystyle \frac{ x }{{\rm Sin}(90)} =\frac{19}{{\rm Sin}(20)} }\)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

sines law:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk sry

OpenStudy (emmaleelooney):

thanks anyways @KakeFace and @SolomonZelman I'm gonna try and put that together but im not sure that I'm going to get it right...

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

you just have to use the calculator also, know that `sin(90º)=1`

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

so all you have is ` x = 19 / Sin(20) `

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

while you are calculating I will post some general info about the sines law.

OpenStudy (emmaleelooney):

okay... and I got 55.5

OpenStudy (emmaleelooney):

?

OpenStudy (emmaleelooney):

so i would round it to 55.6

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

|dw:1435592329614:dw|} yes correct

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

And as relates to that picture I will post the formula

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

\(\LARGE{\bbox[5pt, lightcyan ,border:2px solid blue ]{ \displaystyle \frac{ {\rm Sin(A)} }{a}=\frac{ {\rm Sin(B)} }{b}=\frac{ {\rm Sin(C)} }{c} }}\)

OpenStudy (emmaleelooney):

Okay, so just to clarify ... 55.6 is the right answer?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

or, same way can you say that: \(\LARGE{\bbox[5pt, lightgreen ,border:2px solid green ]{ \displaystyle \frac{a}{ {\rm Sin(A)} }=\frac{b}{ {\rm Sin(B)} }=\frac{c} { {\rm Sin(C)} } }}\)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

and yes, your answer is right

OpenStudy (emmaleelooney):

whew! Thank you so much!!!
