Anyone please ill fan and medal ;c
The formula for area is A=3.14r^2 In order to do this you will have to divide your diameter by two to get your radius r
okay i got 4 when i divided
Yes your radius is 4 so now you can plug it into the formula. A=pir^2
My answer would be 16?
Yes 16pi is your area
oKAY would u know question part b
For the second part now since the frame is two inches thick all the way around so it adds four inches to your diameter but only two inches to your radius so you will do the exact same thing you did for part A but adding two to you radius so: A=pi(r+2)^2
Okay would that be 36..rough guess but is it ?????
@taramgrant0543664
Yes it would be because 4+2=6 and 6^2 is 36! So your answer is 36pi good job!
