How many three digit numbers have only even digits?

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

three digit numbers include all whole numbers between 100 and 999 inclusive the even digits are 0,2,4,6,8 the first digit must be 2,4,6, or 8, giving us 4 possibilities the second and third digit can be 0,2,4,6,8, giving us 5 possibilities so, to find the total number of possibilities, we multiply (number of possibilities for the first digit)*(number of possibilities for the second digit)*(number of possibilities for the third digit)

0 doesn't count

OpenStudy (mathmate):

@Gabrielle_Life @vocaloid is referring to the digit 0 which ends a number, such as 110, or 230, not the number 0.

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Zero is an even number, so it does count unless you were told otherwise. Can get confusing sometimes
