OpenStudy (calculusxy):

MEDAL!!! I would like to graph these two equations: 4x = y 200 + 2x = y My aim is to find the change from when the second equation has a lesser value from the first equation. So I figured that by graphing them and finding the point where they meet, I can find from what value these two equations connect and then divert.

OpenStudy (freckles):

so you want to solve second equation<first equation that is you want to solve: \[200+2x<4x\]

OpenStudy (freckles):

graphing isn't necessary solving that equation will tell you for which x's that one line is less than the other other line
