6 x 2... so we list all of those numbers up to 100.

Since the question asks for numbers for multiples of 4 less than 100 that's not a multiple of 6, we need to compare the multiples of 4 with the multiples of 6. any number appearing in multiple of 4 that's also in multiple of 6 needs to go.
