OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you reduce tangent ratio 1.53986

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\arctan(1.53986) \approx 57°\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you! Now do you know how to get the inverse tangent of 57 degrees?

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

it doesn't make much sense, the tangent of some angle is equal to a ratio of side lengths, and the inverse tangent of some ratio, will equal some angle. we don't take the arctan of an angle

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\tan(57°) \approx 1.53986\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you ^_^
