OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's the law of the soil

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you're born on US soil then you're automatically a US Citizen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool did'nt know that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There's Law of the Soil Law of the Blood

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And then there's both

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Civics

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me with another one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would twin babies born at Point D have U.S. citizenship? It would depend on the citizenship status of the babies' parents. It would depend on whether the parents move to the United States. Yes, the babies would be native U.S. citizens by the law of the blood. Yes, the babies would be native U.S. citizens by the law of the soil.

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mhmm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It would be A I'm pretty sure. The only thing that confuses me about it is that if the child was born while one of it's parents was serving in the US Military then that automatically make the child a US citizen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh and okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

True, but the law of the blood also makes someone techically a U.S. citizen if they dont live here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so a or c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Tide_Poole

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im going to go with a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree
