I'll FAN & MEDAL if you answer these questions!!!!! how would you find a common denominator? What effect would that have on the numerators of the expressions? Would the same idea work for simple numeric fractions? Why or why not?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the common denominator of a set of fractions by identifying the denominators of the fractions, creating a list of the multiples of those denominators, and then choosing the smallest multiple that both denominators share. The common denominator is used to add or subtract fractions that originally had different denominators and the rest i cant find
