Which combination of integers can be used to generate the Pythagorean triple (5,12,13)? A. x=1, y=3 B. x=3, y=4 C. x=2, y=2 D. x=3, y=2

OpenStudy (lynfran):

which one you think it is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm honestly not even sure. I am not the best at math to be honest. I have a hard time understanding it.

OpenStudy (lynfran):

ok im thinking it B because \[\sqrt{(3^{2}+4^{2})}=5\]and since 5 started the tripled (5,12,13)

OpenStudy (anonymous):
