Who were the Seljuk Turks? In a definition please. I'm trying to complete a study guide.
@paki
"The Seljuk Empire was a medieval Turko-Persian empire, originating from the Qynyq branch of Oghuz Turks. The Seljuq Empire controlled a vast area stretching from the Hindu Kush to eastern Anatolia and from Central Asia to the Persian Gulf."
have a look here... http://www.allaboutturkey.com/selcuk.htm or http://www.kidspast.com/world-history/0234-seljuk-turks.php
@paki thank you so much. I'm trying to complete a study guide and this really helped. Is your major in history?
no... am just a LEGEND of history :)
@paki I was just asking because I am a Virtual school student and again, i need to finish this study guide to get a good grade because I'm trying to get my GPA up for scholarships but of course the info on the study guide is never in the lessons. they expect you to know everything. And I have a list of people i have to provide a description for and most of them are scattered throughout the lesson, rather than them just giving me a paragraph dedicated to the person. Dx I'm asking for help. PLEASE!
@disneybear4899 am here for help... fell free to tag me, i will guide you at all... rite :)
@paki THANKS!
my pleasure...
