Confirm that f and g are inverses by showing that f(g(x)) = x and g(f(x)) = x.

f(x) = (x-8)/(x+7) g(x) = (-7x-8)/(x-1)

we're replacing every x in f(x) with g(x) function which gives us f(g(x)) and for g(f(x)) you would replace every x in g(x) with f(x) function, now you can simplify the problem.
