Read the passage. Amber wanted so badly for the girls on the squad to accept her. She knew if she went to the party, they would. However, she had a test the next day and needed to get a good grade to pass the class. Which type of conflict is the character experiencing? character vs. nature character vs. character character vs. self character vs. fate

character vs self

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is because she is fighting her own distracction to go to the party despite having things to do, which in this case is for her to study for the quiz.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

She needs to study for the test, but she also wants to go to the party. Therefore the type of conflict is character vs self.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The classical example would be I fight the urge to hang out with my friends so that can set myself to fully focus on the study. This is me fighting self. Or, me fighting my own urge.

Let me know if you understand.
