the length of a rectangle is 7 meters longer than its width. What is the width of width of this rectangle if its perimeter is equal to 98 meters.?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since parameter is 98 meters, 7*2=14 is the sum of all lengths. 98-14=84 84 is the sum of all widths. So all you have to do is divide that number by 2.
