i need help solving it

OpenStudy (welshfella):

the numbers are increasing by 4 each time so its an arithmetic sequence with common difference 4

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

imagine points on a line (0,14) (1,18) (2,22) (3,26) (4,30) and imagine you had to write the equation for this line...can you write the equation for this line?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

the general formula for the nth term is a + (n - 1)d where a = first term and d = common difference so plug in a = 14 and d = 4 and simplify to get one of the options
