Do you know what the absolute value bars represent
or what they do to a number
the vertical lines around the -x mean the absolute value which is always positive so what do you think ?
{-10,10}
no NOte: the right side of the equation is negative
so -x would be a negative too since there is a negative? or is there no solution?

Absolute value can't be equivalent to a negative.
since we know that no matter what we plug in for x since it is in absolute value, it will never equal a negative
So it's no solution right?

Absolute value is basically a distance. And distance is always positive. (if you want, I can elaborate)

if you have -1 times |-x| = -10 you could get a solution
