What are the intercepts of the equation -2x + 5y = 20 ? Select one: a. (-10,0) & (0,4) b. (0,-10) & (4,0) c. (0,10) & (-4,0) d. (10,0) & 0,-4)

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

to find the intercepts use the process x-intercept, let y = 0 so you need to solve -2x = 20 y - intercept, let x = 0 so you need to solve 5y = 20 hope it helps

OpenStudy (freckles):

x-intercept is found by replacing y with 0 and solving for x y-intercept is found by replacing x with 0 and solving for y
