i don't get either one of these

OpenStudy (owlcoffee):

The slope formula is: \[m _{ab}=\frac{ y_2 - y_1 }{ x_2 - x_1 }\] So, applying it to your points: \[m=\frac{ -5-(2) }{ 1-(-3) }\] So, all you have to do is perform the operations and you'll obtain the slope of the line that passes through those two points.

correct option is a 3/4
