I'm not expert at this, but how could you say that the sign is about increament/decreament ?

Anyway i don't even know what 'magnetic intensity' means to. Just wondering in magnetic field there's no such minus sign.

if the component of the magnetic intensity, along an established axis has reversed its sign, that means  it is decreased, since it went from a positive value to a negative value
