Depending on the claim of the parargaph the number of proofs required varies. There is no "The Way. Some researchers require tens of proofs to prove their claim in a paragraph as the concept being claimed is extremely complex. Take "solving a triangle" as an example. The same context applies to English writing. You need just enough proofs to be able to support your claim whatever that be.
