Have no fear, Mr.Z IS HERE! Let me see.
Yay! Thank you. I find this one to be tricky.
I wanna say A or D. I'd go with A first.
Why do you think it is A?
Because " tone from one of awe to one of delight." "The summer hath his joys, And winter his delights" starts out in the season(s) then as the season (winter or summer) progress it goes from first experiencing the "awe" of the season to the complete delight of the season. That's my theory at least.
I am going to go with A, thank you for explaining
He's enjoying the season as it goes on basically.
Also no problem. I hope it helps. :D
It was right, do you think I could get your opinion on one more?
@Mr.Z
Sure!
What combination of elements helps portray the pleasures of winter in these lines from the poem? Now yellow waxen lights Shall wait on honey love The word choice, sound, and imagery emphasize gentleness. The “waxen lights” contrast with the sweetness of “honey love.” The references to golden colors echo the comforts of winter. The rhythm creates a sense of languor characteristic of winter.
I feel like it could be A or B, but not sure
What are the choices?
A.The word choice, sound, and imagery emphasize gentleness. B.The “waxen lights” contrast with the sweetness of “honey love.” C.The references to golden colors echo the comforts of winter. D. The rhythm creates a sense of languor characteristic of winter.
I would say B. A and B sound good, but B explains alittle more.
Thanks so much! :)
No problem! Any time. :D
