cytosol is the fluid in which organelles of the cell reside and the cytoplasm is the jelly-like fluid that fills a cell. They are basically the same thing.

$Cytoplasm$ is the part of the cell which is contained within the entire cell membrane and  is the total content within the cell membrane other than the contents of the nucleus of the cell. In simple sentence, Cytoplasm is a collective term for the cytosol $+$ the organelles suspended within the cytosol.

While, $Cytosol$ is the part of the cytoplasm that is not held by any of the organelles in the cell. The cytosol is the liquid like substane, within which all the other cell organelles reside and where most of the cellular metabolism occurs.  Mostly It contains water, the cytosol is full of proteins that control cell metabolism including signal transduction pathways, glycolysis, intracellular receptors, and transcription factors.
