If the measure of two sides of a triangle are 3 feet and 7 feet, which is the least possible whole number measure for the third side? 4 3 10 5

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Well you should look up triangle inequality theorem, which would tell us sides A+B>C, B+C>A, A+C > B, where A is the longest side, B second, and C last. It has to be at least 5 to be a triangle, since 5+3>7, you could say 4 at the least but it won't give you a triangle, so I'd say 5, hope that helps!
