Question

So I am writing an compare\contrast essay for History class... "You may choose between comparing free slaves in the North with free slaves in the South or life in the United States before and after the Industrial Revolution." I'm pretty good at essays and it's easy for me to get all the information in, I just never know how to start (or finish). Can someone help me write an introductory sentence(or paragraph, though with just one sentence, I should be able to finish it on my own)?
