pls help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in the first your slope is 5 because the form of your equation is y=mx+b where m/slope)=5 and b(intercept)=-4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok wb the second one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2. Start by the equation of the line is y=mx+b The problem gives you 3 situations when x=1 then y=14 when x=4 then y=15 when x=7 then y=16 you could replace two points to find your equation, 14=m(1)+b 15=m(4)+b solving this system of equations m=1/3 b=41/3 and your equation is y=x/3 + 41/3 you can prove it replacing the third point in the equation but you only need the slope m=1/3

ohh ok i got it thank you !! what about the graph?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

slope is rise/run count the squares

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so would the answer be the second function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank u sm :)

you're welcome :)
