I am very confused, please help. Rewrite each sentence, supplying the word or words that are omitted from the elliptical clause. 1. We like him as much as them. 2. We like him as much as they.

I think the sentence is going to be this : We like him , as much as we like them. This is because instead of writing two separate sentences , you write it as a whole one. If you wrote in two different sentences , the meaning would still be the same. However to make it easier , you write it as a single & simple sentence. I'm not sure if I helped you , but still XDD

This was the answer for the first sentence ( We like him as much as them ) Now for the second sentence it would be : We like him ,as much as they like us.
