OpenStudy (anonymous):

"When will we leave for vacation"?, asked her son.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (brebre5564):

It should be : "When will we leave for vacation"?, asked her son.

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

"When will we leave for vacation"?, asked her son. Actually that sentence is incorrect. The question mark must alsways be inside the parenthesis, because the subject is inquiring something. Also, the comma in that sentence is actually unnecessary. A better modified version for this sentence could be: Her son asked, "When will we leave for vacation?"
