Can someone check this PLEASE!! The survey showed the following frequencies: Females—playing computer games: 4; music: 20; watching movies/TV: 16 Males—playing computer games: 15; music: 12; watching movies/TV: 13 Which is a correct two-way frequency table for the data?

OpenStudy (kitkat16):

?Do you just enter the numbers or do you put it in decimal form

OpenStudy (starwars18):

a two way table you wouldn't need decimals in.

OpenStudy (starwars18):

on the top have male versus female and on the side have games vs music vs movies

OpenStudy (kitkat16):

Which of the following is a correct two-way frequency table for the data? Male and Female Leisure Time Activity Preferences Computer Games Music Watching movies/TV Row totals Female 4 20 16 40 Male 15 12 13 40 Column totals 19 32 29 80 In the lesson it said to convert columns to decimal

OpenStudy (starwars18):

thats wrong

OpenStudy (kitkat16):

so this would be converted Male and Female Leisure Time Activity Preferences Computer Games Music Watching movies/TV Row totals Female 0.21 0.63 0.55 0.50 Male 0.79 0.38 0.45 0.50 Column totals 1 1 1 1

OpenStudy (kitkat16):

well sorry not lined up :P

OpenStudy (starwars18):

ok

OpenStudy (kitkat16):

so what does it mean when you convert to decimals to find the percentage?

OpenStudy (starwars18):

idk, i have never seen two way tables with decimals used.

OpenStudy (starwars18):

sorry, you could try that one, it looks ok

OpenStudy (starwars18):

good luck, i gtg

OpenStudy (kitkat16):

ok thanks

OpenStudy (kitkat16):

Thanks @starwars18 I figured it out. the first one is a two-way frequency table and the second one is what you do to make a a two-way relative frequency table. When its relative it is a table done in percentages. :)

OpenStudy (starwars18):

ok
