What are two events during meiosis that increase the genetic diversity of the daughter cells produced?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you think? Recall that you need to choose two phases from these: Meiosis I: - Prophase I - Metaphase I - Anaphase I - Telophase I Meiosis II: - Prophase II - Metaphase II - Anaphase II - Telophase II - Cytokinesis

ok, thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I said those are your answer choices...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

& the Q itself is asking for 2 phases.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know, but it still helps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay.. now what have you learned so far about meiosis ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know which phases do what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Aureyliant this is what i got Meiosis phase one cytokenesis, due to the sets of chromosomes that are different from the other daughter cells Meiosis phase two cytokinesis, because of the second split of the daughter cells
