How do I get started with the MIT introductory Pythion course? I can't find a way into it.

As far as I know the only thing provided in this course is the reading materials and sample code. However that doesn't mean it isn't useful to go through it! I'm working on doing just that.

The introduction to computer science and programming class does offer the lectures as well if you want the full experience.

If you have a mac go to the finder and search for terminal, python is installed on mac computers so all you have to do is type "python file.py" and it will run whatever file you want...you many need to change directories, if so type "cd DirectoryName" to go up a level or just "cd .." to go down a level. Hope this helps!

The introduction to Python course is a totally self-paced course, in which you do everything on your own. I have gone through the book, and assignments, finally getting stuck on the last exercise. The asking for help is an issue.
