Hi there, determining zeros of functions questions? I would greatly appreciate the help, my school does not explain this unit well and I am looking for some guidance. I will become a fan of you, give you a medal, and write a positive review as well!!! There is a photo of the graph in which I will attach below. Determine the zeros of the following function- A. {4, 1} B. {-1, -4} C. {-1, 4} D. {-4, 1}

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Do you see the points where the function (the graph), and the x-axis interest?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, -1 and 4

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

yes

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

And "zeros" in this case refer to x-intercepts. x-intercepts are the points that (are on the function and) intersect the x-axis. So x=-1 and x=4 are these intersections.

And your answer is?
