How do you write foot note using latex?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ganeshie8

hartnn (hartnn):

tried `\footnote{}` ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\footnote{gfdfgdfg}\]doesn't work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aha how to draw a line?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

glanced on \(\bf\color{red}{\href{https:///en.wikibooks.org/wiki/LaTeX/Footnotes_and_Margin_Notes}{wiki}}\) and i guess I fond something....

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

not all latex commands work on here-:( I don't really know why what hartnn offered doesn't work.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

maybe a chart, box (or chart in a box or vica versa) would be some sub?

hartnn (hartnn):

\(\dfrac{\color{white}{qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq}}{}\) lol a trick using /dfrac :P

hartnn (hartnn):

\(\dfrac{\color{white}{qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq}}{}_{\text{you want a footnote?}}\)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

i did a similar trick previously... i mean you can put up anything using a simple latex if you are tricky:)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I will pull it up....

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

\({{\Huge\bbox[5pt, lightyellow ,border:2px solid black ]{ \color{lightyellow}{\frac{\frac{\color{black}{\rm Hey~~guys,~~\color{blue}{c}\color{green}{o}\color{blue}{n}\color{green}{g}\color{blue}{r}\color{green}{a}\color{blue}{t}\color{green}{u}\color{blue}{l}\color{green}{a}\color{blue}{t}\color{green}{i}\color{blue}{o}\color{green}{n}!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~} }{ \color{black}{\rm I~~feel~~this~~is~~a~~very~~big~~achievement!~~ } } }{ \frac{\color{black}{\rm I~~am~~really~~happy~~for~~you~~guys,~~you~~~} }{ \color{black}{\rm are~~just~~awesome!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~} } }} }} }\)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

this is just an ex.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

you muight as well...

hartnn (hartnn):

\(\tiny \dfrac{\color{white}{qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq}}{} \\\tiny{better?}\)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

\(\LARGE \color{black}{ \displaystyle \text{_____________} }\) \(\large\color{black}{ \displaystyle ~~~~~~~~~~~{\rm text1} }\) \(\large\color{black}{ \displaystyle ~~~~~~~~~~~{\rm text2} }\)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

just 3 lines of latex ``` \(\large\color{black}{ \displaystyle {\rm text1}}\) \(\large\color{black}{ \displaystyle {\rm text2}}\) \(\large\color{black}{ \displaystyle ~~~~~~~~~~~{\rm text} }\) ```

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I mean I have an orignial latex samples in a word doc, and to put something i just need an addition/edition/ or modi=fication

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

a Huge mode with a bloue line that is a small box \(\tiny \color{ slate }{\scriptsize{\bbox[5pt, royalblue ,border:2px solid ]{~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ }}}\) \(\Huge\color{royalblue}{ \displaystyle \bf Footnote }\)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

if you want something paticular, you can always make a trick..... or, you can just shoot a question to anyone... I am not god at latex, but if I will happen to know anything, then anytime...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey I was out, thanks @SolomonZelman and @hartnn

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

ok. Also, if you see someone's latex you can select it, left click, then click Show Math As, and click TeX Commands, and then just copy the latex from a new tab that will open... yw
