SPANISH My school never taught me anything to do with Vosotros, including translations, conjugations and how to use it. Can anybody fill me in? Thank you!
vosotros means us
So if it was used for conjugation a verb, correr for example, would it just be another we run?
@KarlHomsey vosotros means: you ( plural 4 2nd person), just like "ustedes" . here u have a couple of examples: vosotros haceis mucho ejercicio, no es asi? --> you guys do a lot of exercise, dont you?. vosotros os encargaréis de organizar la fiesta -> you'll take over the party's organization. Also can be written like this: ustedes se encargaran de organizar la fiesta. This last one is the most common when youre speaking, cos in spanish in not always requiered to mention personal pronous all the time. In case of the first example, it is also correct to say: Hacen mucho ejercicio, no es asi? Notice i didnt even wrote the pronoun, since the conjugation does that particular job. So please dont trust teddy, this would make you had a big fail at speaking/ writing .
appleduardo is right. vosotros is the plural form of tu, and is used a lot in Spain. Whenever you address a group of people that you would individually address with tu, then you must use vosotros. vosotros is familiar and ustedes is formal. In the present, the verb endings are: -ar -> cantar -> cantáis -er -> comer -> coméis -ir -> subir -> subís ser -> sois ir -> vais
vosotros means 'you' or ustedes. It is oly used in spain.
