Peter walks 30 feet away from his house and places a mirror on the ground. He backs 6 feet away from the mirror so that he can see the tip of the roof. Peter's eyes are 5 feet above the ground. Peter and the house are both perpendicular to the ground. The angles between the top of the house, the mirror, and the ground and between Peter's eyes, the mirror, and the ground are congruent as shown in the image: Image depicts a mirror on the ground between a person and a house. The mirror is 4 feet away from the person and 15 feet away from the house. Part 1: Prove the triangles are similar. Part 2: Determine the height of the house.

hero (hero):

It's kinda late. If you want help from me, it's best to ask your questions earlier in the day unless you live outside the U.S. If that's the case, then its best if someone in your same time zone helps.

OpenStudy (setsuna-yuregeshi):

@Hero Where in the U.S are you? I'm in the U.S. and it's not that late for me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yea 'm just determined to finish. Thanks anyway. Bye, i'll just do my best.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hero (hero):

Well if you live on the West Coast, CA or HI, then no, it wouldn't be that late for you.

OpenStudy (setsuna-yuregeshi):

So, you're on the east coast...
