OpenStudy (vshiroky):

Can someone verify some answers? Helping with 7th grade math and it has been a while.. Here is 1 problem..... 5h+5^2 when h=-6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like i said before! we plug in h=-6 for h in the equation!

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

its going to be her on here for a minute so after she figures out the answer she will post it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So based on what i told you last time, we can figure this out easily! Just a side note, is it \[(5h+5)^2\] or \[5h+5^2\]

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

-15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I don't know for sure... is it the first equation written above by me or second?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because for the first equation it would be 625 and for the second it would become -5

OpenStudy (setsuna-yuregeshi):

No... It would not be (5h+5)^2 @whatdoesthismean

OpenStudy (setsuna-yuregeshi):

Whats 5^2?And whats 5 times -6? Then just add those two answers.

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

You guys have me lost on what is going on lol

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

its -5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well then there we go. It is -5

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

I had her typing while I was outside lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol, tag me if you need any more help.

OpenStudy (setsuna-yuregeshi):

Me too? If you want...

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

Its been a while since I've done this stuff haha... the next one we had was 4x^2/x+4 when x is -2 We got 8

OpenStudy (vshiroky):

@whatdoesthismean

OpenStudy (anonymous):
