I'm currently working on this problem and I suck at linear functions, but I'm trying. Anyway here are the questions: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5040ghii3aq3wgy/Screen%20Shot%202015-07-08%20at%2012.12.07%20AM.png?dl=0 And here is my work (sorry for my handwriting) https://www.dropbox.com/sc/twrnm6rewhatdb1/AADu0k3vvr_GpeadZYmUQr1na I'm mostly concerned about the graph. Should I make that kind of graph (the one on my paper) or should I make one of those with X and Y axis?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Part A looks good!

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

For Part B, shouldn't the domain include 0 also ?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

domain should be 0 and all positive integers right ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because of the initial cost of the bracelet without any of the charms?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Exactly! what if they didn't buy any charms at all ? your function must give answer when x=0 also

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright then :) How about my graph? To me it looks pretty good xD but should I make one of those grid charts (I don't know what exactly they're called) with X and Y axis

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

What you had over there is a table, it is not graph.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

The graph should look something like below |dw:1436330074459:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do you make a graph on the computer?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

click below link https://www.desmos.com/calculator and enter the function in the input box at the top left corner

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's awesome! Thank you! Anyway while you were doing your way which is superior to mine, i drew one (I'm a kinesthetic learner so I have to write everything down) Mine looks good right? I labeled the axis correctly as well right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I bookmarked that link you sent me. Thank a bunch!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright I think I got it from here. Thank you very much for you help, ganeshie8 i really appreciate it! Have a good night :)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

good :) gnite!
