How are cotton balls and pine cone different?

Pine cones are reproductive structures of genus Pinus. Pinus is a Gymnosperm that grows in higher altitudes... the cones are different for different sexes.. male cones and female cones... I study on this subject so was just interested to explain a bit.. :-) Happy studying.. Welcome to Openstudy.. :-)
